Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent of German Russian and English and is also fluent in French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father as well as mother of a Russian mom. A choreographed performance at age 11 which aired on German television, turned her into a Russian dancer who was a snow maiden. Her high school graduation was at the age of 11 in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. In New York, she was studying acting in the HB Studio. Later on, she moved to the Groundlings School and took up numerous initiatives. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. The family moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, with her father when she turned 13 and stars with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. Television actress best known for her role as an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. She was a character who appeared in The Following on Fox, The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
